Climate Entertainment, founded and led by Gokul Rajendran, is a pioneering platform that blends film, storytelling, and youth leadership to address pressing climate and environmental issues. Acting internationally, the initiative engages young filmmakers and indigenous voices to create immersive climate focused media—often in the form of youth-led “climate conferences with films” hosted in different countries.
Dobrosphera proudly hosted the shooting of the Kyrgyz Climate Movie, a powerful journey to the heart of Kyrgyzstan, where majestic mountains cradle centuries of culture now threatened by climate change. The film follows youth activist Gokul Rajendran as he explores the region’s pressing environmental challenges—melting glaciers, shifting ecosystems, invasive species, and the erosion of traditional lifestyles. With stunning visuals and deeply human stories, the project amplifies the voices of mountain communities and their resilience. By facilitating local collaboration and storytelling, Dobrosphera helped spotlight Kyrgyzstan’s fragile mountain heritage and the critical role youth play in shaping a more sustainable future.
