About the company and the event

The Association of Palliative Care for Children of Kazakhstan is a non-governmental organization that unites the efforts of experts, medical institutions and volunteers to support terminally ill children and their families. In October 2023, the Association officially joined the International Palliative Care for Children Network (ICPCN), which expanded its training, consultation and strategic support opportunities. The Association actively promotes the implementation of international standards, the development of a children's roadmap and the creation of regional centers: a specialized center has been opened in Karaganda, mobile teams cover children with oncology and disabilities. The main mission is to ensure the right of every child to a dignified life without pain, including medical, psychological and social support.

What we have done

Dobrosfera created poetry cards for the Association of Palliative Care for Children of Kazakhstan as part of the cultural support and emotional support initiative. We composed poems filled with light, hope, and warmth, adapting them for children of different ages. Artists and designers from our team hand-designed each card using soft colors, kind images of nature, and elements of folk art. We paid special attention to the texts being supportive and lyrical, and the images being calm and inspiring. The cards were donated to palliative care centers as a way to give a moment of warmth to children and their loved ones during difficult times.
